"Reach" delves into the experience of being held against one’s will under the gaze of another. The work evokes the bystander effect although the distant figure does not physically restrain the central blue figure their inaction implicates them in the scene. The central figure’s discomfort is heightened by the neon-like structures attached to their body symbolizing emotional and psychological entrapment.
